Alex Rodriguez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 as a freelance fashion photographer at Alex Rod Studio. During this time, they shot and published various editorials, short films, video clips, and even self-published a book. Alex developed a strong technical and creative knowledge in photography.
In 2017, Alex joined Big Sky Studios as a Studio Manager, where they coordinated all studio assistants and managed day-to-day operations strategically according to clients' demands. Alex later became the Senior Studio Manager, leading the company's largest team and handling all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production in the studio.
In 2021, Alex co-founded a food and drinks project called Hungry Dykes, focusing on delivering homemade, authentic Mexican meal kits to the East London food lovers and LGBTQ community during the lockdown. The project expanded to cooking at an East London market once a month. Alex was responsible for establishing the brand identity, content management, budgeting, and content strategy, collaborating with digital designers, chefs, traders, suppliers, and the co-founder.
Before joining Big Sky Studios, Alex briefly worked as a Senior Waitress at the Mondrian Shoreditch Hotel & The Curtain Members' Club in 2017. Overall, Alex's work experience showcases their passion and expertise in photography, studio management, and entrepreneurial ventures in the food industry.
From 2012 to 2015, Alex Rodriguez attended the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion.
