Nicolas Farcy has worked in the music industry since 1993. Nicolas began their career at Sacem as an Inspecteur Regional. In 1994, they moved to EMI Music Publishing as an A&R assistant for KPM Music. In 1995, they worked at ECPAD as a TV production assistant and at LCI as a research analyst for SACEM rights. In 2000, they became a Music Content Manager at DEO.COM. From 2001 to 2006, they were a Sync & Licensing Manager at Kwark Publishing for Blue Mountain Music, Ryko, Bob Marley Music, Ropeadope, AMV Alster, Freibank, and Compost. From 2006 to 2016, they were a Sync & Licensing Manager and Music Supervisor at Universal Music Publishing Group. Since 2016, they have been a Sync & Licensing Manager and Music Supervisor at MYMA. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Big Sync Music as Head of E.U. and Country Manager - France.
Nicolas Farcy obtained a Master D2A, Droit, économie, gestion de l'audiovisuel from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2011. From 1991 to 1993, they attended NEOMA Business School, studying CESEM - Reims. Nicolas then attended Middlesex University from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a B. A. (Hons) in European Business Administration.
