Jessie Pollak

Jessie Pollak is an experienced creative professional with a diverse background in art and photography. As an Art Instructor at Big Thought since August 2008, Jessie teaches drawing and painting to young children. Concurrently, as a Photography Instructor at Unseen America since January 2008, Jessie provides photography education and resources to underserved communities. Additionally, Jessie has been working as a freelance photojournalist and commercial photographer since January 2004. Jessie’s previous experience includes serving as Equipment Manager at The Space Inc. from May 2004 to October 2005. Jessie holds a Master’s degree in Photojournalism from The University of Texas at Austin and dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Photography from Pratt Institute.
