James Gibson

James Gibson has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. James began their career as a trainee at Arthur Andersen & Co, one of the world's largest accounting firms, before moving into management. James then spent four years as Finance Director at Heron Property, before taking on the role of Finance Director/Chief Operating Officer at Big Yellow Self Storage from 1998 to 2003. In January 2003, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Big Yellow Group PLC, a position they still hold today. Under their leadership, the company has become one of the UK's leading self storage providers, with over 85 stores across the country.

James Gibson completed a BA in Chemistry at Wadham College, Oxford University. James then went on to complete an MA at the same school. Afterward, they attended University College School in Hampstead, London.
