Vinayaka Gangavathi

Vinayaka Gangavathi has over a decade of experience in procurement and project management, currently serving as the Head of Procurement (Projects and Admin) at bigbasket.com since May 2014, and previously as a Corporate Project Procurement Manager. Prior to this role, Vinayaka worked at Bangalore International Airport Ltd as an Assistant Manager in Procurement and Contracts from January 2012 to January 2014, overseeing various purchasing activities. Additionally, Vinayaka held the position of Assistant Manager at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. from February 2009 to January 2012, where responsibilities included managing equipment for the wire rod mill. Vinayaka began the professional journey as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at JSW Steel Ltd. in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleshwarappa Engineering College, obtained in 2008.
