Mathew Lynch

Mathew Lynch has a strong background in information assurance and system engineering. Mathew most recently worked at BigBear.ai as the Information Assurance Division Manager and Principal IA/RMF Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for managing risk management framework requirements for the company's application portfolio. Prior to that, they served as the Information Assurance and Systems Engineering Manager at Oceans' Edge, where they implemented agile help desk and project engineering support teams. Mathew also managed ATO for new and existing programs. Earlier in their career, Mathew held positions at General Dynamics C4S, Lockheed Martin, and Prudential Financial, where they gained experience in system engineering, HPC systems administration, and Unix/Linux systems administration. Mathew began their career in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

Mathew Lynch has a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Mathew also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Rochester, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Mathew has certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in 2018, and as Security+ CE from CompTIA, obtained in 2017.
