Joël Nguesson

Joël Nguesson has a diverse work experience in software engineering and data science. Joël began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Murfy, where they developed UI for the customer-facing app and improved the backend REST API. Joël also automated data synchronization using Python scripting and wrote technical documentation.

Next, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Manatal, contributing to the development of their Applicant Tracking System.

Joël then joined Generali as a Data Scientist Intern, gaining experience in the insurance industry and working with a large customer base.

Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Bigblue, the leading European logistics platform. Joël has worked on various projects, such as developing new features for the product, improving the internal billing system, integrating with carriers' APIs, and developing an order return portal. Joël also focuses on engineering topics to enhance the developer experience and best practices.

Joël Nguesson completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in "Diplôme d'Ingénieur Supélec" at CentraleSupélec from 2016 to 2020. In 2019-2020, they also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics at Université de Lorraine. Furthermore, in December 2017, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning by Andrew Ng from Coursera.
