Chia Chin Lee has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies in the gaming industry. They began their career in 1997 at Raven Software, where they held roles as Team Lead, Audio Lead, and Production. In 2000, Chia joined Valve, working in Design, Audio, and Production. They then moved on to Microsoft Game Studios - Publishing in 2003 before joining Sony Computer Entertainment America / Zipper Interactive in 2004, where they served as the COO and Vice President of Production & Operations. Chia played a crucial role in growing Zipper Interactive from a 1-team studio to a multi-team organization, shipping 4 successful AAA titles within 3 years. In 2008, Chia co-founded Offbeat Creations, a company that achieved significant growth and profitability, eventually being acquired by Playdom in 2010. Chia then joined Disney / Playdom as the Studio Head and Executive Producer, leading the collaboration between Marvel, Disney, and Playdom to create the game Marvel: Avengers Alliance on Facebook. In 2013, Chia became the Chief Product Officer at Mind Candy. In 2015, they co-founded Potion Incorporated before co-founding and serving as the CEO of BigBox VR in 2016. At BigBox VR, Chia is involved in creating the future of virtual reality esports by combining platform-defining games, social communities, and competitive play.
