Joost Kruytzer is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently, Joost serves as the Founder and CEO of BigCircle Ventures since January 2024. Previously, from November 2016 to December 2024, Joost held multiple roles at NLC - The European Healthtech Venture Builder, including Board Advisor and COO. Joost was the Director of Strategy and Development at PharmAccess Foundation from January 2016 to October 2016, focusing on increasing healthcare access for low- to middle-income populations in sub-Saharan Africa. Joost also worked at KPMG from October 2011 to September 2015 as a Partner, where significant achievements included developing mental health care markets and leading Plexus's acquisition by KPMG. Additionally, Joost has held leadership positions at Plexus, VSO, Fletcher Advisory, and Accenture, and holds an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Leiden University.
