Peter Countway

Peter Countway is a senior research scientist and microbial ecologist at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. Peter has also worked as a consultant for Proteus Environmental Technologies, LLC and as a postdoctoral research associate for the University of Southern California. Peter's work experience also includes a research technician position at BIOS from June 1991 to June 1996.

Peter Countway has a PhD in Biology - Biological Oceanography from the University of Southern California, an MS in Marine Science from William & Mary, and a BA in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire.

Peter Countway reports to Deborah Bronk, President & CEO. Peter Countway works with David Fields - Senior Research Scientist, Zooplankton Ecologist, Rosalynn Sylvan - Managing Director, COBRA, and Joaquín Martínez Martínez - Senior Research Scientist, Marine Virus Ecologist.
