Brian Parks, CFA

Brian Parks, CFA, has over a decade of experience in the financial industry. Brian began their career in 2009 as a Consultant for Independent Financial Consulting and then moved to The Cypress Group as an Investment Banking Associate. In 2010, they joined Next Great Place, Inc. as Director of Finance and Operations, where they were responsible for establishing and managing the company's full business operations. Brian also sourced and closed key supply partner relationships and was involved in three rounds of capital raising. In 2012, they became a Contract Web Developer for Mach19 and a Graduate at Devbootcamp, where they learned how to code. Brian then joined Brandfolder, Inc. as an Advisor and Co-Founder & CEO. In 2014, they became the General Manager - Colorado for Galvanize and in 2015, they joined P2Binvestor Inc. as Managing Director of the Technology Lending Practice. In 2017, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of Bigfoot Capital.

Brian Parks, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance (Honors) from Southern Methodist University in 2004. Brian then obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation from the CFA Institute in September 2007.
