Michael Kotia has extensive work experience in the technology field. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Artemis Technologies, Inc. where they held roles such as Development Operations Manager and Web Application Developer. In these positions, they managed projects, led cross-functional teams, and successfully executed numerous web projects using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Prior to that, they worked at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation as an IT Support specialist, where they provided technical support and training to end users. In 2018, they joined BIGGBY COFFEE as the Director of Technology, where they plan, directs, and coordinates activities in electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Michael also serves as a technical liaison and consultant on projects, working closely with executives and business teams.
Michael Kotia attended Lansing Community College from 2012 to 2013, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science. Michael then attended Michigan State University, where they studied Public Administration & Public Policy and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. In terms of additional certifications, they received The CQI Academy of Quality Management Fundamentals from the System of Profound Knowledge from Capital Quality and Innovation in 2017. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Certified SAFe 4 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc.
