Ali Zafar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ali currently serves as the Director of Implementation, Financial Productivity (APAC) at BigHand, where they oversee the successful delivery of financial productivity solutions to law firms across the APAC region. Their primary focus is on ensuring maximum value and return on investment for clients, working closely with sales, product, and customer success teams.
Previously, Ali worked at Iridium Technology, now part of BigHand, where they held the position of Head of APAC from January 2017 to February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Consultant / Developer from January 2015 to February 2022. In these roles, they led the implementation of Iridium BI solutions for global law firms, collaborating closely with management and finance teams to deliver exceptional BI capabilities.
Before joining Iridium Technology, Ali worked at Johnson Winter & Slattery as a BI Systems Analyst. During their tenure from December 2012 to January 2015, they were responsible for requirements analysis, vendor selection, and implementation of the firm's BI platform. Ali also played a key role in business processes automation through SharePoint workflows and managed various SharePoint-based projects.
Ali's earlier work experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at Southern Cross Austereo from September 2007 to December 2012.
