Wei C.

Wei C. is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in protein engineering and process development within the biotechnology field. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Cell-free Development at BigHat Biosciences since March 2024, Wei previously held the position of Principal Scientist in Downstream Process Development at Resilience from June 2022 to December 2023, leading a team to enhance purification processes. Wei's earlier roles include Senior Scientist at Nektar Therapeutics, focusing on PEGylated cytokines, and positions at Vaxcyte and Stanford University, where significant contributions were made in protein engineering and virus-like particle research. Wei earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
