Fisayo Eluyera

Fisayo Eluyera is currently the Legal and Compliance Officer at BigiBet. Prior to this, they were with Sterling Homes Ltd from January 2019 to September 2020 where they served as the Legal and Compliance Officer and Head of Administration.

Eluyera is responsible for putting in place internal controls mechanisms that safeguard assets, promote accountability, increase efficiency, and stop fraudulent behavior within the company. Fisayo also performs secretarial duties at board meetings and annual general meetings, ensuring that the codes of corporate governance are strictly adhered to. In addition, Eluyera formulates and develops policies and procedures essential to the continued development of the company.

Eluyera has a wealth of experience in liaising with various regulatory agencies and filing statutory returns where necessary. Fisayo also keeps records of business instruments and executed contracts between the company and its clients, consultants, and partners. Additionally, Eluyera employs adept mediation skills to solve and address employee conflicts at the workplace.

In their role as Legal and Compliance Officer, Eluyera offers legal advice on matters pertaining to commercial transactions and contracts, property interest, collective bargaining agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, amongst others. Fisayo also reviews and drafts contract agreements, deed of assignment, Joint Venture agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Contract for works agreements, Supply agreements, Sale & Purchase agreements, and Partnership agreements with clients and other entities.

Fisayo Eluyera graduated from the Nigerian Law School with a B.L. in Law. Fisayo then went on to Obafemi Awolowo University, where they obtained their LL. B in Law. Afterwards, they obtained a certification from Quantic School of Business and Technology in CUSTOMER DISCOVERY. Fisayo also has a certification in Finance: Time Value of Money from the same school. Additionally, they have a certification in Marketing Fundamentals from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Finally, they have a certification in Understanding Core HR Processes from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM (Official LinkedIn Account).

Their manager is Kola Adewoye, Head of Legal.
