David Pirie

David Pirie is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in services delivery and cloud engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Services Delivery Engineer at BigID since February 2024, David previously worked at Morgan Stanley for nearly 17 years, where roles included Cloud Engineer focused on OpenShift and Azure for Data Discovery, and Associate as the European Head of FWP Application Support in Corporate and Post Trade Technology. Prior to that, David held positions at Valu-Trac Investment Research Ltd, providing IT support and developing client websites, and at Robertson Construction, where responsibilities included IT infrastructure support and network installation. David's foundational education was completed at Milne's High School in Fochabers.
