Mark Allen

Mark Allen is the Chief Technology Officer at BigIron, where he manages the company’s technology solutions. He leads the teams responsible for development, data analytics, infrastructure, and security.

He has over 25 years’ experience in technology operations including roles with agriculture organizations. Prior to BigIron, he directed technology services for several organizations including John Deere, USDA, Hallmark, and AT&T.

Mark was member of the team that started John Deere’s Frontier Marketplace and Machine Finder initiatives, and additionally architected USDA’s crop subsidies and conservation platforms supporting agriculture producers nationwide.

Mark holds a degree in Computer Science from the Wichita State University and holds an active enterprise architecture accreditation from FEAC Institute in Washington DC.
