Terry Han has worked for a variety of companies since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Manager & New Zealand Visa Consultant for Qingdao Global Bridge Cultural & Educational Exchange Services. In 2011, they worked as a Sales Executive for New Zealand China Direct (Shanghai) Ltd. In 2012, they worked as an Operation Manager for Sitting Bull Restaurant, a Wine Event Consultant for BwA, a Sales Manager for Redstar Magazine (Qingdao), and a Marketing and Event Manager for Shanghai Rose Bar & Cafe. In 2013, they worked as a Marketing and PR Manager for Angelina's Bar and Cafe. In 2014, they worked as a General Manager for Fix Espresso. In 2016, they served as the Founding Director for GLOBE Bar & Bistro. Since 2020, they have been working as a Product/UX, Software Testing/UX, and Customer Success for BigMarker.

Terry Han received a Diploma in Hospitality Management from the Waiariki Institute of Technology in 2005, studying Tourism and Hospitality. In 2010, they attended the Hartnack Schule Berlin to study German Language.
