Lawakush Kurmi

Lawakush Kurmi is a Tech Lead_J2EE & Angular at Big Oh Tech. Lawakush was previously a Software Developer and Co-Founder at Freekyk India from October 2019 to May 2021.

Lawakush co-founded “Freekyk”, a team of passionate football lovers who aim to provide an end-to end online platform to the Indian youth where they can nurture their love and passion for the football. Lawakush onboarded 500+ players, 100+ freestylers, 23 teams and conducted 100+ on-field matches and collaborated with referees, teams, ground owners, academies, schools, etc.

Lawakush built a full stack web app (currently not live) using AngularJs and Firebase with several features: Profile Creation, Create/Join/Manage Team, Player Dashboard Data Retrieval and Selective Display, Send/Receive Invitation System, Team Communication System, Tournament/Contest Registration System, Leaderboard Ranking System, Auto Statistics Generation, Support Ticket System, Match Results Responsive View, Personalised Notifications System, Freestyler Journey Tracking System, Shopping cart, Membership Joining and Payment Integration using RazorPay (in progress), Easy 1-Click content sharing on all social media platforms such as Instagram, whatsapp, facebook, etc., List Content filtering and pagination allowing fast browsing through the app., Shimmer effect using CSS displayed when main content is loading., Shareable Player Profile cards and match fixture cards., Internal Team Activity Chat System using Realtime Database enabling all team players within a team to communicate with each other., Database scalability, performance and load tested the app for 30,000 users.

Lawakush Kurmi has completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management. They also hold certifications in Angular from Udemy and Qwiklabs, as well as a certification in Python Programming from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
