Ivo Kwee

Ivo Kwee is the Co-Founder and CTO at BigOmics Analytics. Prior to their current role, Ivo served as the Head of Bioinformatics Facility at IRB | Institute for Research in Biomedicine and as the Head of Bioinformatics Unit at IOR Institute of Oncology Research. With a background as a research scientist at IDSIA, Ivo has also worked as a Research Fellow at the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory AIST-MITI. Ivo holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Medical Physics from UCL, a Master of Engineering - MEng in Applied Physics from Hokkaido University, and an Engineer's degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology. Additionally, Ivo has experience as a bioinformatician in the lymphoma genomics group and has authored/co-authored over 50 papers.
