Lorenzo Leoni

Lorenzo Leoni is a Swiss entrepreneur and business advisor, who has been involved in the development and commercialization of innovative medical technologies for over 20 years. Lorenzo is the founder of Oculox Technologies and Actus Advisory, and has also served as the Director of the Fondazione AGIRE, the Agency for promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship in Southern Switzerland.

Lorenzo’s experience in the medical technology sector has given him a deep understanding of the challenges involved in bringing new products to market. In their role as an advisor at BigOmics, they provide guidance to startups and small businesses on how to navigate the complex regulatory landscape and bring their products to market successfully.

Lorenzo Leoni completed their BS in biology at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Lorenzo then went on to earn their Ph.D. in biochemistry and cell biology also from the University of Lausanne. After earning their doctorate, Dr. Leoni took a post-doctoral position in biomedicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
