Sudharsana Viswanathan

Sudharsana Viswanathan has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering. Starting in 2017 as a Data Engineer Intern at InetSoft, Sudharsana designed dashboards, analyzed webpage data, and made recommendations for improvement. Moving on to Credit Suisse in 2019, Sudharsana worked as a Database Engineer, creating data models, developing REST APIs, and utilizing shell scripts for batch processing. In 2021, Sudharsana joined Verisk as a Data Engineer, where advanced SQL techniques were utilized to extract data from various databases, and Python and shell scripts were used for managing data feeds. Currently, Sudharsana is working as a Full Stack / Data Engineer at BigSpring, focusing on data gathering, extraction of insights, and building dashboards for an Ed-Tech Learning Platform, resulting in a 10% increase in customer engagement.

Sudharsana Viswanathan holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Stevens Institute of Technology. Prior to that, Sudharsana obtained a Bachelor's degree from Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Sudharsana has achieved an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, Sudharsana has completed the Tune Up Postgres course from Udemy and is also a pyspark associate certified by Databricks.
