Shivang Desai

Shivang Desai has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the CEO and CTO of Bigthinx, an award-winning artificial intelligence company specializing in software development for online fashion retail. Shivang co-founded the company in 2015 and has been involved in the development of various products, including mobile body scanning, virtual try-ons, and digital twins. Bigthinx is highly regarded as a top fashion technology firm and metaverse enabler.

Prior to Bigthinx, Shivang co-founded Ztocky in 2014, where they held the role of Co-Founder until 2016. Shivang then served as the CEO and Founder of The BranDR from 2013 to 2014.

Shivang also gained experience as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Cummins Inc. in 2012. In this role, they collaborated with cross-functional teams and external consultants to develop a building commissioning process and conducted financial analysis that projected $17 million in energy cost savings across US facilities. Shivang also worked on developing a long-term strategy for energy efficiency and emissions reduction.

Before that, Shivang co-founded Swallow Systems Pvt. Ltd. in 2010, where they contributed to the company until 2012. Shivang'searliest professional experience was as an Associate Architect at Karan Grover & Associates from 2008 to 2010.

Shivang Desai completed a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy and Finance at Case Western Reserve University from 2011 to 2013.
