Dr Matthieu Pettes-Duler

Dr Matthieu Pettes-Duler serves as the Head of Powertrain at Beyond Aero since July 2022, contributing to the development of an electric private aircraft utilizing hydrogen propulsion. Prior roles include Hydrogen Fuel Cell Propulsion Engineer at Airbus UpNext, focusing on the ZEROe Demonstrator project, and Fuel Cell Propulsion System Engineer at Blue Spirit Aero, where work involved hydrogen-powered aircraft. Dr Pettes-Duler has been involved in hybrid-electric aircraft research through the HASTECS project at Clean Sky 2/Airbus/Laplace and held various academic positions at ISAE-SUPAERO. Education includes a Doctor of Engineering degree in Electric Aircraft Propulsion from Toulouse INP and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from ENSEEIHT.
