Ion Preda is a seasoned Sr. Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the chemical and oil industries. Currently, Ion is employed at Bilfinger Tebodin since February 2019, working on various modernization projects for Huntsman Holland BV. Previous roles include positions with Fluor Corporation and JACOBS NEDERLAND B.V., where Ion contributed to significant projects such as the Gunvor Refinery and Clariant Germany. With a strong foundation in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Ion has a proven track record in engineering design, inspections, and site commissioning across multiple international projects, particularly during tenures at Honeywell UOP NV and earlier at Novotrol SRL and Paragon SRL, focused on oil refineries and power plants.
