I started to dive into coding in 2008 at the school. My journey into development started with a deep interest in games and how they’re built. That curiosity led to my first notable project – the Gish Map Editor for J2ME – back in 2010.
It was a small but important step that set the foundation for everything that followed. From this moment on, I made a decision about my future profession.
In 2013, representing Homi’el, I won the Final Stage of the Republican Olympiad in Informatics and got a chance to get a high education at a leading IT university in Belarus. Shortly after starting my studies, I landed my first commercial job thanks to a hackathon that opened the door to the industry for me.
In 2014, I released Smart Cursor, a major mod for Minecraft that gained traction in the community. Around the same time, I shifted my focus toward open-source development, where I found my true passion for building tools that others could use, learn from, and contribute to.
That path eventually led me to the Go ecosystem, where I created two significant open-source projects that I’m especially proud of – govalidator & EventBus. For me, development has always been about more than just code – it’s about solving problems, sharing knowledge, and being part of a community.
Here I worked on KUKU.io, a social media management application for small businesses and agencies, as well as GanttPRO, an online project management tool.
Since that time I gained a lot of technical and theoretical experience along with practical experience in various fields like front-end and backend, mobile development, AI, cloud and DevOps operations, team leading and building products.
At DevTeam Group, I’ve grown from a developer to a backend lead and eventually to an architect. I contribute to building Gem Space as a B2C product while also helping shape and scale CoWork, our B2B solution built on top of the same platform.
I also develop iOS applications and create my own music — two areas that let me combine engineering precision with creativity.
Now I’m taking part in Sequoia, the product meant to break the stigma about men’s health.
