Michael K. Volz is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and chemicals industries. Currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Compliance Operations at Bilfinger since July 2017, Michael has previously held the position of Vice President and Group Compliance Officer at Merck Group, where responsibilities included developing and overseeing global compliance programs for a major DAX 30-listed company. Michael's leadership experience encompasses managing a team of 70 global employees, with 10 direct reports, demonstrating strong capabilities in compliance oversight and legal counsel. Michael holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Transactions from the University of Illinois College of Law and a law degree from Heidelberg University.
