Benjamin Coughlin

Benjamin Coughlin is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat detection and response. Since May 2021, Benjamin has held the position of Manager, Cyber Threat Detection & Intelligence at BILL, along with roles as Staff Security Engineer and Senior Security Engineer. Prior to this, Benjamin worked as an IT Consultant at Better Technology Consultants from May 2019. His background includes significant roles at Ally, where Benjamin served as Cyber Security Incident Response Manager, Cyber Threat Intelligence Senior Analyst, and Senior Cyber Security Analyst from June 2016 to April 2021. Earlier experience includes positions at General Motors as DevOps Release Coordinator and HPC System Administrator. Benjamin began his career at Ally with internships in Information Technology in 2011 and 2012. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy, completed in 2014.
