Lauren Johns

Lauren Johns is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Executive Communications Director at BILL since August 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren worked at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from July 2016 to August 2022 as an Executive Speechwriter and Strategic Communications expert, where responsibilities included shaping Australia's public narrative and advising on communications for 114 overseas missions. Previous positions include Head of the Political, Communications & Government Relations Team at the Australian Embassy in Cambodia, Senior Media Adviser for the Minister for International Development and the Pacific, and various advisory roles in the Australian Government related to international policy and national security. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of International Relations (Hons) from Bond University.
