Bethany Hardy

Bethany Hardy is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and external affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer at the Gates Foundation since March 2024, Bethany's previous roles include Senior Vice President of Earned Media at JPA Health and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Media Relations & Strategy at Ketchum, where strategic communications were provided to healthcare clients. Additionally, Bethany worked as a Communications Consultant at BYH Communications for over 15 years, advising and crafting media materials for notable organizations, and held an adjunct faculty position at American University’s School of Communication. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wittenberg University.
