Rasa Izadnegahdar has extensive experience in global health, focusing on nutrition and maternal, newborn, and child health interventions. As Director at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from June 2013 to March 2020, Rasa led research and product development initiatives. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Global Health at the University of Washington since July 2016, Rasa is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Seattle Children's, where involvement spanned from March 2013 to June 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Pediatric Hospitalist and a Research Fellow at the Center for Global Health and Development at Boston University from January 2010 to January 2013. Rasa holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and completed a Pediatric Residency at Boston Children's Hospital through Harvard University.
