Tracey McNeill is the Director of Health Systems at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Tracey has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on women's health.
Tracey began their career at Marie Stopes International (MSI), an NGO that provides sexual and reproductive health services to women in developing countries. Tracey rose through the ranks of MSI, eventually becoming the Senior Vice President and Commercial Director. In this role, they were responsible for increasing the organization's financial self-sufficiency and profitability. Under Tracey's leadership, MSI saw a significant increase in surplus and generated new sources of revenue through innovative products and services.
In 2014, Tracey left MSI to join Babylon Health, a digital health startup. At Babylon, they served as the VP of Clinical Governance and Quality. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the quality of care delivered by Babylon's digital health services. Tracey was with Babylon for six years, during which time the company grew to become one of the world's leading digital health providers.
In 2020, Tracey joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as the Director of Health Systems. In this role, they are responsible for improving access to quality healthcare globally. Tracey is an expert in their field and is a passionate advocate for women's health.
Tracey McNeill went to Royal Free Hospital for their nursing career and then went to South Park High School for Girls in Lincoln for their education.
