Allan Gibson

Allan Gibson is currently working as the Head of Quality Assurance at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director GMP at the same institute from May 2018 to September 2021. Before joining the Bill and Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, Allan worked at Shire as the Head of Product Quality, Head of Plasma Product Quality, and Product Quality Director from July 2015 to May 2018. Allan also has experience working at Amgen as QC Director, Sr Manager QA - Drug Substance Manufacturing, and Product Quality Leader from October 2004 to July 2015. Allan's earlier work experience includes a role as a Scientific Manager at Inveresk Research from May 1999 to September 2004 and as a Research Assistant at PPL Therapeutics from May 1995 to May 1999.

Allan Gibson attended Liverpool John Moores University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bsc Hons degree in Applied Biochemistry.
