Prior to this, Aparna held leadership roles at Statistics Collaborative, Inc. Aparna was the Chief Scientific Officer from January 2020 to November 2021, and previously served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from September 2016 to January 2020.
Before joining Statistics Collaborative, Inc., Aparna worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for a significant portion of their career. Aparna held the position of Group Director, Global Biometric Sciences from July 1997 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for immuno-oncology clinical development strategy, trial design, and regulatory interactions. Aparna also served as a functional and matrix manager.
Aparna's work experience also includes a position as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota from August 1995 to June 1997.
Aparna Anderson completed their education in a chronological order. Aparna began their academic journey at the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they attended the University of Goettingen as a Fulbright Scholar from 1989 to 1990, focusing on Mathematics. Finally, Aparna furthered their studies at the University of Washington, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biostatistics from 1990 to 1995.
