Vickie Davis, CPP, CPPM

Vickie Davis, CPP, CPPM has extensive work experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. Vickie is currently serving as the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Leader - Lab Services at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at Gates MRI (Logix Inc.) from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining Gates MRI, Vickie worked as a Sourcing Excellence Manager at Amgen from 2020 to 2021. Vickie also served as a Senior Sourcing Associate at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2018 to 2020. During their time at Bristol-Myers Squibb, they were responsible for relationship management, contract management, strategic sourcing, and ensuring purchasing practices were followed.

Before their role at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Vickie worked as a Sourcing Manager III at Johnson & Johnson from 2016 to 2018 and as a Sr. Sourcing Analyst at Merck from 2015 to 2016.

Vickie's earlier experience includes working as a Procurement and Supplier Management Consultant at Princeton University from 2013 to 2015. Vickie played a critical role in the creation and implementation of Supplier Management Services and facilitated the growth of the relationship between SMS and the university campus.

Vickie's career in procurement started at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they worked as a Sourcing Manager from 2004 to 2008.

Vickie Davis, CPP, CPPM, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision from Thomas Edison State University. Vickie attended the university from 2010 to 2012.
