Albena Georgieva

Albena Georgieva currently serves as the COO of BILLA s.r.o since March 2022, following a tenure as COO at Billa Bulgaria Ltd. from January 2019 to March 2022 and at BILLA Slovakia from May 2015 to December 2018. Previously, Albena held various roles at Billa Bulgaria, including Operations Director, Buying Director for Food/Nonfood, and Head of Category Management Fresh. Experience also includes leading Field Operations and Customer Care Departments at Metro Cash and Carry Bulgaria from May 2005 to July 2009. Beginning a career as a company owner in retail, Albena operated three shops specializing in food and beverages from January 1993 to October 2002. Albena Georgieva holds a master's degree in macroeconomics, marketing, and financial management from the Economic University Varna and completed high school at the English school "P. Yavorov."
