Lars Brandle

Lars Brandle is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in the music industry. Since March 2017, Lars has served as Editorial Director at Vinyl Media while also contributing to Billboard since October 2008 in various roles, including Overnight Editor and Australia correspondent. Additional experience includes serving as Australia correspondent for IQ Magazine until July 2024 and Senior Writer at The Music Network until December 2014. Earlier in Lars's career, positions held include Global News Editor and International Editor at Billboard from March 2000 to August 2008, as well as editorial roles at Financial Times and other publications. Lars holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The University of Queensland, completed between 1992 and 1994.
