Wes Hummel

Wes Hummel is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at MX since August 2022, overseeing multiple engineering and product domains including architecture, data science, and cybersecurity. Hummel also holds a board member position at BillGO and previously served on the Arizona Technology Council's board. With extensive experience at PayPal from 2008 to 2022, Hummel led the Site Reliability & Cloud Engineering organization, managing a significant budget and driving substantial improvements in infrastructure reliability and customer satisfaction. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Clarity Communication Systems Inc. and Motorola, contributing to innovations in software engineering and system reliability. Hummel holds an MBA in High Technology Business from Arizona State University and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
