Chuck Medcoff has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Chuck started their career at Pyramid Solutions in 1994 and worked there until 2000. Chuck then joined gedas USA as an Enterprise/Application Architect from 2001 to 2006. In 2008, Chuck worked as a .NET Architect at Ford Motor Company for a year before becoming a Principal Consultant at RCM Technologies, where they stayed until 2012. At RCM Technologies, they worked on various consulting projects. In 2012, Chuck joined Billhighway as a Senior Software Developer and Technical Lead. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting a large suite of financial service applications using Microsoft's technology stack. Chuck also led the implementation of solutions for moving money and payment information, including multiple bank integrations and credit card gateways for both domestic and international solutions.

Chuck Medcoff attended Michigan Technological University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronic Engineering Technology/Technician. Chuck then went on to Wayne State University, graduating in 1991 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Computer Engineering.
