Dr. Durell Cooper

Dr. Durell Cooper is an accomplished educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the arts and cultural sectors. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Billie Holiday Theatre Incorporated and as an adjunct faculty member at New York University and the NYU School of Professional Studies, Dr. Cooper has also held roles as an adjunct faculty instructor at The City College of New York and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As the founder and CEO of Cultural Innovation Group, LLC, and creator and host of both Fluency and FLOW Web Series, Dr. Cooper actively contributes to cultural discourse. Previous positions include Program Officer for the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and Program Manager at Lincoln Center Education. Dr. Cooper holds a Doctor of Education from New York University, a Master of Arts in Education from New York University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University.
