Andreas Schmidt

Andreas Schmidt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and architecture in the payments and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product - Payments and Risk at Billie, Schmidt previously held significant roles at Zalando Payments GmbH, including Head of Product for Card Payments and E-Money, as well as Product Owner for Core Payments. Prior to this, Schmidt worked at HERE as a Distinguished Architect in System Architecture within the CTO Office and Chief Solutions Architect for Local Knowledge. As the founder of Team-Konzept, Schmidt also operated as CTO and CFO, and founded Webman, where Andreas was a member of the supervisory board. Schmidt holds a Diplom in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin, earned between 1988 and 1994, and attended Johannes-Scharrer-Gymnasium in Nürnberg from 1976 to 1986.
