Liwen Qi

Liwen Qi has a diverse work experience with a focus on software engineering and system analysis. They started their career in 2003 with Infineon Technologies, where they held various roles including System Analyst and Senior System Analyst. At Infineon Technologies, Liwen led distributed teams and was responsible for re-engineering a semiconductor production system and developing a semiconductor production line control system. They also played a crucial role in setting up development environments, designing, implementing core components, and mentoring team members. In 2013, Liwen joined Workday as a Principal Software Engineer, where they defined the technical roadmap, partnered with product managers, and drove performance improvement projects. Currently, Liwen works as a Principal Engineer at Billie, a position they started in 2023.

Liwen Qi obtained a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from 1994 to 1998 at the same university, specializing in the field of Science of Control Theory and Information.
