Business Intelligence Consultant at Billigence

Alexander Humfrey began their work experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Billigence in 2022. In this role, they implemented data quality checks using Alteryx and Power BI for various projects in the financial services, higher education, and health sectors.

Prior to that, Alexander was a Professional Rugby Player at Jersey Reds RFC from 2021 to 2022.

In 2019, Alexander worked as a Business Analyst at Protect Group, where they played a key role in establishing global Membership Programmes and optimizing lead generation strategies. Alexander also developed strong skills in client management and data analysis.

Before their business analyst role, Alexander had a career in professional rugby, playing for Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Union Club from 2019 to 2020, Manly Marlins Rugby Union Club from 2018 to 2019, and NSW Country Eagles in 2018. Alexander also played for Richmond Rugby in 2017 and Bath Rugby in 2016.

Additionally, Alexander worked as an Associate Consultant at JDX Consulting from 2017 to 2018, where they reviewed OTC Derivative Contracts and improved QA procedures for a Tier 1 investment bank. Alexander also trained new starters and updated training resources during their time there.

Alexander Humfrey completed their Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at Loughborough University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath between 2014 and 2017.

Additionally, Alexander has obtained several certifications. In November 2022, they were certified as a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate by Microsoft. Alexander also completed the Alteryx Designer Core and Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification from Alteryx in July 2022. Furthermore, they completed several certifications from Snowflake, including Hands On Essentials in Data Engineering in March 2023, Data Lake in February 2023, Data Sharing in February 2023, Data Applications in January 2023, and Data Warehouse in January 2023.
