Chelsea Wagner

Chelsea Wagner is an experienced genetic counselor with a strong background in providing pre- and post-test telecounseling services across various specialties. Currently serving as Lead Genetic Counselor at BillionToOne since May 2022, Chelsea oversees carrier screening processes, variant interpretation, and the development of educational materials for patients and providers. Prior to this role, Chelsea worked at Genome Medical and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where responsibilities included managing a team of counselors, maintaining clinical documentation, and supervising the education of medical professionals. Chelsea holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University.
