Vandod Farhadi

Vandod Farhadi is an accomplished Automation Engineer with a strong background in biotechnology and engineering. Currently serving as Automation Engineer II at BillionToOne since May 2025, Farhadi previously held roles at AbCellera as both Automation Engineer and Lab Automation Engineer from August 2021 to April 2025, and as Lab Automation Associate at Vital Bio for a brief period in 2021. Early career experiences include system integration internships at ChipCare Corporation and mechanical engineering internships at teaBOT, where skills in CAD design and machine assembly were developed. Additional contributions to the field include leadership roles in academic projects such as designing microfluidic systems for space experimentation with the University of Toronto Aerospace Team and teaching robotics to children through the York Region District School Board.
