Wen Zhou

Wen (Cynthia) Zhou is an experienced professional in the fields of computational and molecular biology, currently serving as the Associate Director of Development in Oncology and Principal Scientist at BillionToOne since November 2021. In this role, Wen leads a small R&D team focused on product design and development, successfully guiding the launch of the NorthStar Select clinical diagnostic product in under a year. Prior experience includes a position as Computational Biologist II at 10x Genomics, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech, where Wen conducted complex computational biology projects. An early career included research roles at McGill University and a focus on biosensor development and cancer cell line proteomics. Additionally, Wen has a background in dance instruction, showcasing a diverse skill set.
