Emily Slazyk

Emily Slazyk began their work experience in 2010 as a Server Trainer at Buffalo Wild Wings, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they transitioned to ATI Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant and held that position until December 2020. In 2021, they joined Results Physiotherapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant on a PRN basis, and later in the year, they became an Associate Application Support Engineer at Billtrust.

Emily Slazyk's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Joliet Junior College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree. Emily then went on to attend Kankakee Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate's of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.

In 2019, Emily enrolled at Concordia University Chicago and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Emily completed their studies in 2020.

Emily continued their education in coding and development by attending SheCodes Workshops from 2020 to 2021. Emily obtained a Certificate in Coding, Front-End, React, and Responsive Development. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including React Development, Responsive Web Development, Front End Development, and SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop.

In 2021, Emily attended the Nucamp Coding Bootcamp for Full Stack and Mobile Development.

In terms of additional certifications, Emily obtained the certifications of Movement Specialist from RockTape in May 2020, Online CPR/AED and First Aid Combo Course from ProTrainings in September 2019, Certified in Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute in May 2019, and Physical Therapist Assistant from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy in August 2014.
