Stijn Careelmont

Stijn Careelmont started their career as a Treasurer at Moeder Gezelle in November 2012, where they managed financial aspects of events. Stijn later became the President at Moeder Gezelle, organizing a gala event attended by around 4000 people. During this role, they gained experience in marketing, general management, project management, team collaboration, and people management.

In 2016, Stijn did an internship at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral in Ecuador, as part of their Master of Science in Educational Sciences. There, they conducted research in the field of education.

In 2017, Stijn served as a Class Representative and Student Council Representative at Antwerp Management School.

Following their internship at BelCham in San Francisco in 2018, where they focused on attracting new customers, Stijn joined iController as a Junior Customer Success Advisor and Junior Business Analyst. Stijn then progressed to the role of Business Analyst/Project Manager, managing around 80 iController implementations for various sectors.

Stijn also played a key role in the global rollout of iController for the LeasePlan Group, leading implementations in multiple countries and ensuring user onboarding.

Currently, Stijn is working at Billtrust as an Engagement Manager, overseeing Project Managers and Business Analysts. Stijn is responsible for scaling delivery, improving processes, and driving client satisfaction in a rapidly growing professional services organization.

Stijn Careelmont's education history is as follows:

From 2017 to 2018, Stijn attended Antwerp Management School and obtained a Master's degree in Global Management.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, Stijn enrolled in Ghent University and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Educational Sciences.

In 2014, Stijn also studied at Ghent University, taking a linking course to the Master of Science (M.S.) program in the educational sciences. The field of study for this course is unspecified.

Before pursuing higher education, from 2011 to 2014, Stijn attended Arteveldehogeschool and earned a Bachelor's degree in Secundair onderwijs (secondary education).

In addition to formal degrees, Stijn has obtained various certifications. In 2017, Stijn received The Online Marketing Fundamentals certification from Google. In 2016, Stijn completed the Intensief Spaans voor beginners: ¡Ahora! - A1 course at Ghent University Language Centre. Before that, in 2015, Stijn obtained a Ski Initiator certification from Sport Vlaanderen (formerly known as Bloso). In 2014, Stijn received the Trainingscertificaat Leefsleutels voor Jongeren from Leefsleutels VZW. Stijn also holds a Hoger Redder certification from Sport Vlaanderen, obtained in 2013. Finally, in 2010, Stijn completed the Animator in het jeugdwerk course offered by Kazou vzw.
