John Cotton

John Cotton has accumulated a diverse range of work experience in various industries. John is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Billy, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Binary Noggin from February 2022 to December 2022. From October 2019 to February 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Zillion.

Before transitioning to software engineering, John worked as a Salesforce Developer at TenCate Protective Fabrics US from February 2019 to October 2019. Additionally, they served as a Lead Instructor at Savvy Coders from March 2017 to September 2019, where they taught web development skills to underemployed individuals.

John also has experience as a self-employed Web Developer from May 2016 to January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Producer at WTCI-PBS from March 2015 to July 2017. John also held the role of Creative Producer at 1080 People from January 2012 to May 2016.

Furthermore, John worked as an Audio Engineer/Producer at The Alderman Group from February 2012 to October 2012, where they created audio packages for web, TV, and film, as well as managed video production. John began their career as a Unit Producer for "The Edge" Alumni Relations TV Show at Lee University Video Production Center from June 2011 to January 2012. Overall, John Cotton has extensive experience and skills in software engineering, web development, teaching, and audio production.

John Cotton attended Lee University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies. In January 2019, they also obtained a Salesforce Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce.
