Sarah Rich

Lead Designer at BILT

Sarah Rich has four years of work experience in the field of design and animation. In 2019, they began their role as Lead Designer at BILT Incorporated (3D Intelligent Instructions\u00ae), where they lead research, prototyping, usability testing, and launch of interactive 3D instructions. Sarah also scripts, plans, and creates 3D animated instructions using printed instructions and product samples. In addition, Sarah researches and analyzes the installation or assembly of consumer goods to empathize with the user\u2019s experience to create an equitable interaction.

From 2014 to 2015, Sarah was the Lead Motion Graphic Designer at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they established a motion design team within the AV Department. Sarah designed and animated graphics for theatrical productions, classrooms, live shows, and online campaigns, and also implemented, designed, and maintained graphic elements for live shows. Additionally, Sarah was a Freelance Compositor in 2015, where they composed animation assets and added underwater effects to create a complete short film entitled The Violent Blue. Sarah also animated the title card and end title sequence. Finally, they were a Compositor for the BYU-Idaho Theater Department in 2014.

Sarah Rich graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2016.
